Our Monthly Services
These gatherings are the main focus of Elevate. We meet in St Oswald's Church at 6.30pm in Fulford on a Sunday evening, on the first Sunday of the month.
The meetings usually last about an hour and half.
If you want to leave early or arrive late, then that's no problem.
Each month we focus on a different theme.
There are interviews with all sorts of interesting people. To hear someone open up and talk about their own experiences can be rewarding and interesting.
We have a short talk or film to reflect on and and time to discuss and ask questions one-on-one or as a group. There is also plenty of time for chilling out.
We sometimes do activities that can be thought provoking or just fun!
There are also free food and drinks, such as home-baked cake or soup in the winter (yum!)
We like to create a calm and dark atmosphere where you can relax and ponder on how God can apply to us today. The space Elevate creates also provides you with time to quietly reflect.
Elevate also works to support the people who attend.
